Tranquility

Artist’s note about the original painting:

Catching the last light of day always makes my heart sing. As we walked home from town, the horizon began to glow with the final light of the day. I ran as quickly as fast as I could to the dam, capturing the colors gently hovering over the water. The scene radiated peaceful tranquility as day gracefully transitioned into night. This painting was inspired by several photographs taken that evening.

Tranquility has been accepted by judge Lynn Marsden-Atlass into Rehoboth Art League's 12th Regional Juried Biennial Exhibition. The Exhibition Reception will be held  August 21,2026, 5-7 pm in the RAL Gallery, and the exhibition will run through September 20,2026. Tranquility will be available for purchase at the exhibition.
